2024 four-star offensive lineman Makai Saina commits to USC

#USC goes into Texas and gets a recruit the Longhorns and Aggies wanted. This is commit No. 15 for the Trojans in the 2024 cycle.

The USC Trojans landed two prospects on Tuesday. Maybe we should call it “Twos-day.”

Hours after landing four-star safety Marquis Gallegos, Lincoln Riley and the Trojans watched 2024 four-star offensive lineman Makai Saina choose USC over Texas and Texas A&M.

USC went into Texas and got a recruit the Longhorns and Aggies wanted.

With Saina committing to USC, the Trojans have picked up three players in the past 30 hours. Receiver Ryan Pellum committed to USC on Monday afternoon, taking the Trojans over Oregon in a two-school battle. The Trojans have now pulled in 10 four-star recruits in the month of June. Their average ranking per recruit isn’t number one in the country, but it’s close. Alabama, Georgia, and Ohio State are doing slightly better than USC in this specific component of 2024 recruiting, but the Trojans are outpacing every other program.

USC now has 15 commits in the 2024 class and is closing in on a top-five ranking for this cycle. Follow our USC recruiting tracker as the commitments continue to roll in.
