2024 Texas A&M commit Gabriel Reliford is a 6-foot-3, 255-pound defensive lineman out of Shreveport (Louisiana). He is on USC’s radar and recently picked up an offer from the Trojans this weekend.
As a junior, Reliford made 129 tackles a year ago, including a staggering 27 for loss.
Of the 22 schools to offer Reliford a scholarship, he chose the Aggies over offers from Arizona State, LSU, Ole Miss, Kansas State, Tennessee and Vanderbilt, among others, but his recruitment is still open.
The Louisiana native (Evangel Christian Academy) is a four-star recruit according to 247Sports composite.
Reliford is ranked as the No. 316 overall prospect in the 2024 class, the 23rd-best defensive lineman, and the 10th-best player in the state of Louisiana.
USC continues to make recruiting in the South one of its national recruiting priorities. Landing a few prospects from the South would enhance USC’s national standing and position, elevating the program’s profile as it heads into the Big Ten.

USC win over ASU felt like a loss in many ways.
Alex Grinch is not quieting his critics, and bigger tests await.
