The Alabama coaching staff offered 2024 combo guard Jase Richardson about two weeks ago. On Tuesday, Richardson listed the Crimson Tide as a finalist in his recruitment.
Jase is the son of former Michigan State Spartan and NBA shooting guard Jason Richardson.
The Spartans are currently the favorite to land Richardson, according to On3’s RPM.
Over the years, Alabama head coach Nate Oats has done a good job of developing combo guards in better players while preparing them for the next level. Several players that Oats has helped reach the NBA are Joshua Primo, JD Davison, and Keon Ellis.
Alabama could be become a top option in the future for Richardson as the coaching staff continues to send its players to the NBA. The ultimate goal for Richardson is to be like his father and reach the league.
