Tight end Trey’Dez Green of the 2024 class recently revealed his top-five schools, which Alabama made. However, he chose a different SEC program.
The Louisiana native stars in both football and basketball at East Feliciana High School. As a junior, he performed well on the gridiron. Green hauled in 42 receptions for 864 receiving yards and 14 touchdowns. His basketball stats are currently unavailable.
Green recently spoke with On3’s Sam Spiegelman about the Tide and why they were listed as a finalist.
“I know Alabama is a great university that’s shown a lot of love to me,” Green said. “They’ve shared many insights about the university as well as a lot about the rise of their basketball program.”
According to On3’s RPM, he was heavily favored to land at LSU at 99.4% likelihood. I would expect the Alabama coaching staff to continue to pursue Green even after his commitment to the Tigers.
