2024 3-star wide receiver prospect makes Florida visit

Tuesday was a big day for the Florida staff, with an out-of-state WR prospect visiting campus for the first time.

Billy Napier came into his role as head coach of the Florida Gators with a plan to keep the best players in Florida, in-state. But just because that’s the plan, doesn’t mean Napier isn’t against bringing in players from beyond the sunshine state.

NiTareon Tuggle, a three-star wide receiver prospect from Nappanee, Indiana, was on campus today for his first visit with the Gators. This comes on the heels of a visit to Georgia over the weekend. As of now, the Florida visit wraps up a busy stretch of recruiting trips for Tuggle.

Before stopping in Gainesville, the Northwood High School prospect took unofficial visits to Notre Dame, Texas A&M, USC, Michigan and aforementioned Georgia. He currently has an official visit with the Bulldogs scheduled for June 23.

Tuggle’s recruiting list isn’t limited to the programs he recently visited, but it does inform which schools he has higher on his shortlist. The 6-foot-3-inch, 190-pound pass catcher is also considering Auburn, Colorado and Penn State. According to the 247Sports composite’s 2024 player rankings, which factors in all four major recruiting services, Tuggle is considered a top-500 player in the nation, the No. 67 wide receiver in the nation, and the No. 5 player in the state of Indiana.
