The men’s college basketball season may be over, but for Buzz Williams’ Texas A&M program, there is already plenty of optimism when looking ahead to next season. Numerous outlets from ESPN to USA TODAY have high hopes for the Aggies next season on the hardwood, and that sentiment will surely have an impact on their future recruiting efforts.
Williams has already secured a commitment from 4-star small-forward Rob Dockery, giving the Aggies a promising athletic talent on the wing. Now could the Maroon and White be adding to their backcourt in the future?
According to the latest update, top 150 prospect Andre Mills has received two “Crystal balls” from Texas A&M insider and GigEm247 writer Andrew Hattersley, as well as Peegs.com writer and Indiana Contributor Trevor Andershock, predicting that he will land with the Aggies on his April 10 decision date.

Mills is reportedly deciding between the Aggies, Iowa, and Temple, but the Class of 2024 recruit’s visit to Texas A&M back on September 16 may have tilted the scales in their favor. If that didn’t do the trick, then perhaps the Aggies’ 25-10 (15-3 SEC) campaign, highlighted by an NCAA Tournament berth, has the Chestnut Hill native thinking the Maroon and White colors will look nice on him in the future.
Coming off last season’s success, it’s clear that Buzz Williams and this Aggies program have something promising brewing for the long haul. Here’s to hoping that Mills will be a part of the Aggies’ basketball future come April 10!
