After hosting mostly commits (with a handful of uncommitted prospects) over the weekend, Michigan football is working to make it so everyone on campus for ‘Victors Weekend’ ends up in the 2024 class.
Of the 18 official visitors, only five were uncommitted to the maize and blue, but that number appears to be dwindling on Monday.
Hailing from Brandywine (Md.) Gwynn Park, three-star edge rusher Devon Baxter was one of the five uncommitted prospects on campus. However, the No. 506 player in the country (per the 247Sports Composite) is uncommitted no more, as he chose the Wolverines over Virginia Tech on Monday, thus pushing the number of commits who were on campus this weekend to 14.

The No. 32 EDGE and 13th-best player in the state of Maryland, Baxter has offers from Virginia Tech, Rutgers, Boston College, Cincinnati, Duke, Maryland, Minnesota, Penn State, Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia, and others. Baxter does have an official visit set for Virginia Tech this weekend, but there’s no indication that that will still take place.
Of the 18 players who visited this weekend, the only ones who have yet to pledge to Michigan are all four-star prospects: CB Aaron Scott, OT Michael Uini, LB Jeremiah Beasley, and WR Jordan Shipp.
