2023 Seattle Seahawks Super Bowl odds with conference, division and win total best bets

Analyzing 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds for the Seattle Seahawks, including best bets for win total, conference and division titles.

The Seattle Seahawks shocked the NFL last season by finishing 9-8 and making the playoffs. They have made the playoffs in 4 of the last 5 seasons and in 9 of the last 11.

The Seahawks added a few big-name talents with DE Dre’Mont Jones signing a 3-year, $51.53 million deal. They also inked S Julian Love and DE Jarran Reed.

Seattle was also heavily praised for what it did in the draft, adding the best cornerback and wide receiver in Devon Witherspoon and Jaxon Smith-Njigba. Those 2 should, along with a pair of 2nd-round picks, should immediately help the Seahawks.

Below, we look at the Seattle Seahawks’ 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds from FanDuel Sportsbook along with projected win total, playoff, conference and division odds as we make our best NFL picks and predictions.

Seahawks over/under win total

Odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook – last updated May 17 at 12:45 p.m. ET; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list.

  • 8.5 wins: (Over: -132 | Under: +106)

The Seahawks have the 17th-hardest strength of schedule according to Sharp Football Analysis, so they are middle of the pack in that regard. Seattle drastically improved during the draft. QB Geno Smith, 30 TDs and 11 INTs last season, will play a crucial role, and he may improve as well with new weapons all around.

Seattle finished 9-8 last season, and I would expect them to be just as good if not better. Pete Carroll has had a winning season in 10 of his last 11, and I would bet he gets this team closer to their ceiling than their floor.

With a deeper defense and more offensive weapons, take the OVER 8.5 (-132).

Seahawks Super Bowl odds

  • +4000 (bet $100 to win $4,000)

Seattle is tied with the Green Bay Packers and Minnesota Vikings for the 15th-shortest odds to win it all.

The Kansas City Chiefs (+600) are the favorites, followed by the Philadelphia Eagles (+850). At +4000, Seattle has an implied probability of winning the Super Bowl of 2.44% or 40/1 fractional odds. The Houston Texans and Arizona Cardinals have the longest odds at +18000.

While it may be enticing, the Seahawks don’t have the offensive ceiling to get all the way this season. PASS.

Will the Seahawks make the playoffs?

  • Yes -122 | No +100

While I do like the Over 8.5 (-132), betting the Seahawks to make the playoffs for a marginally better value is likely the better play here. There was only 1 team in each conference to go over .500 and miss the playoffs. Both conferences had 9-8 teams make the playoffs.

As noted, the Seahawks improved their offensive weapons, their secondary, and their pass rush this offseason. That should be enough, coupled with a weaker conference. The NFC isn’t quite as deep as it was a season ago either. The Packers and New York Giants will likely regress, and other teams like the Tampa Bay Buccaneers may not be playoff-caliber teams.

I’d back the YES (-122) here.

Odds to win NFC West Division

  • 49ers -175 (bet $175 to win $100)
  • Seahawks +260 (bet $100 to win $260)
  • Rams +650 (bet $100 to win $650)
  • Cardinals +2400 (bet $100 to win $2400)

Seattle’s implied probability of winning the NFC West is 27.78% or 13/2 fractional odds. This division is top-heavy with the 49ers being strong favorites. The Rams and Cardinals pose little threat.

Given how good Carroll has been for Seattle over the years, there is some value in backing the Seahawks (+260). He drastically helped this team outperform last season and should see similar success with a better roster.

For a small unit, back SEAHAWKS (+260).

Seahawks odds to win NFC

  • +1,400 (bet $100 to win $1,400)

While I would pass this, the Seahawks have the staff, offensive weapons and improved defense to make a strong run in the conference. The ceiling for Smith might not be that of QB Trey Lance, but his floor also isn’t the same and provides a high upside for the organization.

With the Eagles having retained key pieces and likely to top the conference again, I would pass here, but this is the best long-shot Seahawks bet.
