Harris Sewell, who is one of the top-ranked offensive line prospects in the country, recently announced his commitment date and time which is officially set for Wednesday, June 29th, at 12:00 PM Central, 1:00 PM Eastern, and 10:00 AM Pacific in front of his family and Permian High School teammates and peers. Sewell’s final five schools are Clemson, Texas A&M, Texas, Oklahoma, and Alabama.
Overall, Harris Sewell has been slowly but surely rising up the recruiting ranks throughout the year due to his imposing skill set in both pass protection and run blocking during his time at Permian High School in Permian, Texas, and is currently ranked as the 5th offensive line prospect in the country, and 22nd ranked player in Texas according to 247Sports. as it stands, Sewell’s 247Sports Crystal Ball prediction has the Clemson Tigers as the favorite, but predictions are predictions, and signing is day is when the final decision is made.

From my recent evaluation of Harris Sewell as a prospect, I described his ability on the offensive line as:
Sewell stands at 6-4, 290lbs, but plays more like a mid-300 pounder, and runs like a mac truck with a nitro boost. He displays a wide base and is utterly violent as a run blocker, showing great instincts in the open field, strong hands, and quick feet, and follows through and finishes his blocks at a high rate. In pass protection, Sewell is quick out of his stance, displaying great composure, proper balance, and footwork while keeping a flat back and persistently overpowering his defender
Possessing depth and talent on the offensive line is of the utmost importance from a team-building perspective, especially due to the veracity of the transfer portal, and the natural process of graduation, with a season’s success rate, usually falling on blocking efficiency on offense and winning the battle in the trenches as games wear on. Harris Sewell has made his visits while meeting with a number of coaches and recruiters, and will ultimately make one of the most important decisions in his young life and football career on Wednesday.
