2023 NFL consensus mock draft 3.0: How the internet is projecting the first round a week before the real thing

A look at where the NFL experts are picking the biggest names to go.

The 2023 NFL Draft — the real deal! — is coming next week.

So it’s time once again to round up the experts around the internet: Who are they picking where at the moment?

In case you don’t know the drill: We take a bunch of mocks —specifically, the latest from our Christian D’Andrea, one from ESPN, another from NFL.com, another from Draft Wire, one from CBS Sports and one from Yahoo Sports. Then, we look at the picks each made and average out each player’s positions and match them to each of the first 31 picks (the Dolphins forfeited their pick). Anyone left out of a first-round mock was assigned the 32rd pick.

Be sure to check out D’Andrea’s latest mock draft as well as the current up-to-date official draft order. You can also compare to our last consensus mock draft.

Worth noting: Some of these picks may not fit the teams they’re assigned to due to trades in some mocks and some pick differences (I doubt the Bengals will take a QB!).
