2023 New York Giants Super Bowl odds with conference, division and win total best bets

Analyzing 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds for the New York Giants, including best bets for win total, conference and division titles.

Expectations are sky-high for the New York Giants entering the 2023 season for the first time in a while. The G-Men posted a 9-7-1 record last season, securing an NFC Wild Card playoff berth before ousting the NFC North Division champion Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card Round. New York was eliminated by the rival Philadelphia Eagles in the Divisional Round.

The Giants took care of a huge order of business, extending QB Daniel Jones, while slapping the franchise tag on RB Saquon Barkley. However, Barkley hasn’t yet signed the tag or taken part in offseason Giants activities as he and the team work toward a long-term deal.

New York also went out and grabbed some weapons for Danny Dimes in the form of free agents WR Parris Campbell, WR Jamison Crowder and TE Darren Waller before nabbing WR Jalin Hyatt in the 3rd round of the 2023 NFL Draft. WRs Isaiah Hodgins, Sterling Shepard and Darius Slayton remain in the mix as well after serving as contributors in 2022.

The team added to the defense, too, picking up LBs Jarrad Davis and Bobby Okereke, while adding S Bobby McCain for depth. New York selected CB Deonte Banks with the 24th pick in the 1st round of the NFL Draft.

Below, we look at the New York Giants’ 2023 NFL Super Bowl odds from FanDuel Sportsbook along with projected win total, playoff, conference and division odds as we make our best NFL picks and predictions.

Giants over/under win total

Odds provided by FanDuel Sportsbook – last updated May 16 at 7:54 a.m. ET; access USA TODAY Sports Scores and Sports Betting Odds hub for a full list.

  • 7.5 wins: (Over: -122 | Under: +100)

The Giants outperformed expectations under new coach Brian Daboll last season, posting a 9-7-1 record and winning their first playoff game since 2011. It’s a little curious that the books are not giving the G-Men respect, and projecting New York to have a losing record. Can the Giants exceed expectations yet again?

Perhaps it is the schedule, which is a bit on the challenging side. We’ll see the Giants in primetime on 5 separate occasions, including 3 of the first 4 games. Those will all be challenging games, especially the 2 games on the road at the San Francisco 49ers and Buffalo Bills. If New York can make it to mid-October with a 3-3 record, keeping its head above water, the schedule gets lighter into fall.

I really like OVER 7.5 WINS (-122), as this team added some key parts. New York picked up a tremendous tackle machine in Okereke to buoy the defense, has a happy QB and should have B. Barkley might not be terribly happy playing under the tag if it comes to that, but at least he isn’t playing somewhere else.

Giants Super Bowl odds

  • +4500 (bet $100 to win $4,500)

The Giants racked up 10 total wins last season, including the victory over the Minnesota Vikings in the Wild Card Round. They proved they weren’t quite ready for primetime and that there is work to be done by getting annihilated by the division rival Eagles in the Divisional Round.

While the G-Men have a very good chance to make the postseason again, winning a Super Bowl title isn’t terribly close. They might be one superstar away on defense, and the G-Men can probably use another superstar wideout on offense. Might that be Hyatt? Time will tell, but 2023 isn’t when a championship run should be expected.

At +4500, New York has an implied probability of winning the Super Bowl of 2.17% or 45/1 fractional odds.

The Arizona Cardinals and Houston Texans have the longest odds at +18000.

You can go ahead and AVOID this wager. The G-Men are at least 2 or 3 years away from seriously entertaining a championship run, and it doesn’t help that they’re in the same division as the defending NFC champ Eagles, and the playoff-hopeful Dallas Cowboys.

Will the Giants make the playoffs?

  • Yes +142 | No -176

I can see the Giants winning as many as 9 games, but not many more than that. It will likely take until around the holidays before we find out if New York is going to the postseason, and it might not be decided until Week 18.

It helps that the G-Men end the season with 4 home games and a bye in the final 7 weeks. The late bye on Dec. 3 should help them rest and heal up for the stretch run.

The Giants made the playoffs last season against all odds, and they made improvements in the offseason to take another run. I am not nearly as bearish on the G-Men as the books. I really like New York’s team, despite its place in the NFC East, and I feel as if this team has another playoff run in them, building upon last season’s momentum. Play WILL THE GIANTS MAKE THE PLAYOFFS? YES (+142).

Odds to win NFC East Division

  • Eagles +110 (bet $100 to win $110)
  • Cowboys +165 (bet $100 to win $165)
  • Giants +600 (bet $100 to win $600)
  • Commanders +1000 (bet $100 to win $1,000)

While I feel the Giants are a good bet to make the postseason, this division belongs to either the Eagles or Cowboys. The Giants aren’t likely going to get into the double-digit win neighborhood. Philly won 14 games last season, en route to a Super Bowl 57 appearance, while Dallas won 12 games while going 4-2 inside the division.

The G-Men were impressive last season, but they need to do better work inside the division (1-4-1 in 2022) and in the conference (4-7-1 in 2022). That simply will not do. PASS.

Giants odds to win NFC

  • +2100 (bet $100 to win $2,100)

The Giants have some rather long odds to win the NFC and go to Super Bowl 56. They’re well behind the Eagles (+330) and Cowboys (+600), both NFC East Division rivals. There are 6 other teams ahead of the G-Men in the pecking order, too. That’s why the books feel New York is on the fringe of making the postseason.

The Giants are thought about more favorably than the Atlanta Falcons (+2500) and Chicago Bears (+2500), Carolina Panthers (+3000) and Washington Commanders (+3000), Los Angeles Rams (+3500), Tampa Bay Buccaneers (+4000) and Arizona Cardinals (+8500).

This team showed it is playoff-worthy, and can win a game in the postseason. But it’s not a Super Bowl team.

AVOID.
