According to Jon McNamara of BadgerBlitz.com, 2023 in-state edge rusher Evan Herrmann out of Sussex, Wisconsin, will take an unofficial visit to UW on October 1 when the Badgers take on the Illinois Fighting Illini.
Per 247Sports, the three-star prospect is the No. 131 EDGE rusher in the 2023 recruiting class and the No. 5 player in Wisconsin.
Although he only holds offers from Ohio and Vanderbilt, Hermann has also heard from Iowa, Iowa State, and Michigan State, who he’ll visit during September and October.
The 6-foot-6, 210-pound linebacker is a star track athlete and has emerged as a potential diamond in the rough, given his projectable frame and impressive athletic traits.
You can watch his HUDL film here.
Visit schedule for 2023 in-state edge Evan Herrmann. @Badger_Blitz will have video, analysis and a breakdown of his performance last night from a win over Brookfield Central later this afternoon.
