The 2023 Atlantic Coast Conference baseball regular season is officially in the books as play wrapped up this weekend. And now, we look ahead to the week in Durham as it should be another exciting conference tournament.
The conference tournament will begin next week with 12 teams looking to de-throne North Carolina as tournament champions. With the regular season done, the conference officially released its pools with the 12 teams as we now know some matchups.
Here are the pool assignments following play on Saturday.
Pool A: Wake Forest (Atlantic winner), Notre Dame, Pitt.
Pool B: Virginia (Coastal winner), North Carolina, Georgia Tech
Pool C: Clemson, Boston College, Virginia Tech
Pool D: Miami, Duke, NC State

For the format, each team will play the other two teams in their pool and the team with the best record in that pool will move on to the quarter-finals. From there, the tournament will advance to the semi-finals and then the championship. The winner of the tournament will automatically punch their ticket to the NCAA Tournament.
The full schedule for the tournament in Durham is expected to be released at some point on Sunday including times and dates as well.
