Prediction

Croatia 3, Morocco 1

Moneyline (ML)

BET CROATIA (+115).

Simply put, Croatia is playing better than Morocco. They have played tougher opponents overall and handled it better. Drawing France and then beating them the following week in June is extremely important going into this and something to pay attention to.

Croatia also has someone to be seen as the dark horse on the team and that player is M Mateo Kovacic. The Chelsea mid does not get consistent minutes for the club, but surely the duo between Modric and Kovacic will show up in a big way.

Considering Morocco’s loss to the United States, 1 of the major opponents it faced, there is risk in assuming it can keep up with a side that has patient midfielders like Croatia.

Over/Under (O/U)

LEAN OVER 2.5 (+145).

If Croatia plays Morocco’s weak side, the side without PSG D Achraf Hakimi, they should handily win this one.

Morocco also lost one of their starters, M Amine Harit, to an unfortunate knee injury in training. This will put Croatia in the driver’s seat to take this fixture with relative ease.

Morocco has scored 9 goals in their last 4 matches. Granted their schedule was weaker, but they still have the possibility to score. Croatia has gone Over this total in 2 of their last 3 matches and in 4 games this year.

For a smaller unit, back the Over 2.5 (+145).
