Tennessee announced Thursday its Nike Smokey Grey uniforms will return in 2022.
The uniform return is part of a Smokey Grey Series for the 2022, 2023, 2024 and 2025 seasons.
The Vols open its 2022 season Sept. 1 against Ball State at Neyland Stadium. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. EDT and SEC Network will televise the season-opening matchup.
