The Southeastern Collegiate Rugby Conference Olympic 7s Championship was held Saturday and Sunday in Murfreesboro, Tennessee.
Tennessee finished 2-3 and fourth in the conference.

Following the SCRC Olympic 7s Championship, Tennessee junior fullback Josh Shetler discussed the Vols’ performance.
“I think the team learned a lot this weekend,” Shelter told Vols Wire. “We are no where close to the same team we were at the beginning of the 7s season. We played hard and played fast. We beat ourselves at the end of the day. Gave up possession way too many times. Didn’t make key tackles when we should of.
“We’re not done yet. We have the national tournament in Atlanta on May 14-15. Lots of tough games. We’ll spend the next three weeks preparing hard. We’re excited to get back on the field in a couple weeks and give a good showing there.”
