The LSU Tigers picked up another commitment on Monday when 2022 four-star offensive lineman Lucas Taylor made his pledge to the national champions.

Taylor, a 6-foot-4, 314-pound offensive guard from St. Paul’s Episcopal in Mobile, Ala., chose LSU over Florida, Florida State, Penn State and others.
Taylor is commitment No. 7 in LSU’s 2022 recruiting class, which remains No. 1 in the 247Sports team rankings. He is the first offensive lineman commitment in next season’s class for the Tigers.
Taylor is a big and powerful guard who already possesses the requisite size for the next level. And he is just a rising junior.
With just one offensive line commitment currently in the 2021 class, expect head coach Ed Orgeron to target more players for the trenches in 2022.
