The NFL will release the full schedule for all the teams at 8 PM tonight. We will have that available for you quickly after it becomes official.
Throughout the last week or two, we have seen a bunch of different games being announced in a variety of places and ways. A few were announced as a part of the international series and then some early primetime games as well.
None of those games included the Cleveland Browns. With Deshaun Watson’s possible suspension, the Browns may not get a lot of primetime games this year despite a Super Bowl roster.
Two hours before the official schedule release, we learned that Cleveland will open the year on the road with the Carolina Panthers before having their home opener the following week against the New York Jets.
Both the Panthers and Jets are young teams looking to recover from difficult seasons in 2021 while Cleveland gets two games outside of the division before possibly facing an AFC North foe.
