A new era of college basketball at Penn State under new head coach Micah Shrewsberry features a roster of returning vets and a handful of transfers to build with in 2021-22. Among those who are returning to Penn State this season as the transition begins is forward Seth Lundy, who made the decision to run it back with the Nittany Lions after stepping into the NCAA transfer portal during the offseason.

Lundy has been one of Penn State’s best players to rely on during his time in Happy Valley, and that will continue to be the case in 2021-22. Although he can be kind of streaky, Micah Shrewsberry will hope to find some more consistency out of Lundy in the offense. After an offseason of some roster turnover, Lundy is Penn State’s leading scorer back for this season.
Lundy’s biggest flaw when it came with inconsistency was not performing at his most productive state against the strength of the Penn State basketball schedule. And considering some of the obstacles facing the Nittany Lions in Big Ten play and on the non-conference schedule, Lundy has to find a way to be more reliable in the biggest moments for the Nittany Lions if the NCAA Tournament drought is going to end this season.

If Penn State is going to be going dancing this season, Lundy will be a big reason why.
