There’s just over a week left in the February recruiting dead period, but the moment that’s over, Michigan will look to take advantage, hosting visitors once again.

One such prospect made it known on Friday that he’ll be making his way to Ann Arbor the first moment that it’s once again allowed to be on campus.

2021 Milwaukee (WI) Wauwatosa East three-star offensive tackle Marcus Mbow seems to be heavily favoring Iowa at the moment, and does not appear to yet have a Michigan offer. That could perhaps change with a successful visit, as he announced on Twitter that he’ll be taking in Ann Arbor on March 1.

Naturally, he posted a picture of Ben Bredeson, the four-year starter who originally hailed from Hartland, Wisconsin. Mbow has also retweeted videos of Bredeson’s ability as showcased by scouting-type accounts, further revealing Michigan’s increased visibility to linemen in the Badger state.

Mbow currently has 8 reported offers, and rated 715th overall by the 247Sports Composite. He’s also the 68th-rated offensive tackle and No. 6 player in the state of Wisconsin.
