You’ve got to appreciate when game recognizes game. Friday was BYU’s pro day and by all accounts, quarterback Zach Wilson put on a show. Just judging by the video above, his remarkable arm strength was on full display.
What makes this throw even more impressive is how much it impressed former Clemson quarterback and consensus No. 1 overall pick Trevor Lawrence.
Lawrence and Wilson have all-but-cemented themselves as the top two quarterbacks to come off the board in the 2021 NFL draft. The Jacksonville Jaguars hold the No. 1 overall pick while the New York Jets are picking No. 2. Both teams are in dire need of a quarterback and there’s a good chance these two young men are the picks.
