The Tennessee Titans have decided to trade back after dealing their No. 85 overall pick in the third round of the 2021 NFL draft to the Green Bay Packers.
According to Jim Wyatt of Titans Online, the Titans are sending the No. 85 overall pick to Green Bay in exchange for the No. 92 overall pick (third round) and the No. 135 overall pick (fourth round).
And with their newly-acquired pick, the Packers selected Clemson wide receiver, Amari Rodgers, a player at a position of need for the Titans that we would have liked to see them draft.
But I digress…
After adding the fourth-round pick, Tennessee now has eight selections remaining in this year’s draft, including two in the third, fourth and sixth rounds, and one apiece in the fifth and seventh.
We’ll have to wait just a little while longer for Tennessee to make its third selection, but they’ll have two in short order thanks to owning the No. 100 overall pick, also.
