Stacking the incoming draft class of quarterbacks is going to be a fascinating exercise. Sure you know the names at the top – Trevor Lawrence, Trey Lance, Justin Fields and Zach Wilson – and order them any way you wish. Yet what might be even more interesting is how that next tier of passers is graded.
In that next tier is Florida quarterback Kyle Trask. Trask put up impressive numbers this season and was named a finalist for the Heisman Trophy, but how does he project to the next level? If you are a fan of his game, or want to be, his outing against Vanderbilt is one you will want to watch. Sure the numbers were good – Trask completed 26 of 35 passes for 383 yards and three touchdowns – and yes it came against Vanderbilt, but there are a lot of things to like about this game. First? Kyle Pitts, the matchup nightmare at tight end, did not play due to injury. Second? In this game you will see a lot of the little nuances to playing quarterback that matter in the NFL.

Teams looking to address quarterback this off-season, who miss out on the players in the top tier, might be happy with what they see in Trask later in the draft.
