The 2021 Major League Baseball season enters its home stretch.
Three former University of Tennessee players and their teams are currently in playoff races, including Garrett Crochet (Chicago White Sox), Drew Steckenrider (Seattle Mariners) and Yan Gomes (Oakland Athletics).
Crochet and Steckenrider are relief pitchers for their respective teams, while Gomes, who won the 2019 World Series with Washington, is a catcher for Oakland.
