2021 Heisman Trophy odds: Who’s favored heading into Week 1?

Looking at the 2021 Heisman Trophy odds heading into Week 1 of the college football season.

Alabama WR DeVonta Smith snapped a streak of four straight quarterbacks winning the Heisman Trophy last year. He was also the first Alabama player to win the award since RB Derrick Henry in 2015. Can QBs return to the top of college football this season? Below, we look at the 2021 Heisman Trophy odds; check out SportsbookWire.com for all of our NCAAF picks and predictions.

Prior to Smith winning the 2020 Heisman Trophy, QBs Lamar Jackson (Louisville), Baker Mayfield (Oklahoma), Kyler Murray (Oklahoma) and Joe Burrow (LSU) took home the honor; the latter three went on to be the No. 1 pick in the NFL draft. Non-QBs haven’t won the Heisman in back-to-back seasons since RBs Ricky Williams and Ron Dayne in 1998 and 1999.
