[lawrence-newsletter]The Badgers certainly have a position of need at kicker, and UW made a preferred walk-on offer to one of the highest-rated kickers in the class of 2021 yesterday. Tyler Bittman announced his offer via Twitter yesterday after saying he spoke with Wisconsin Special Teams Analyst Taylor Mehlhaff.
After a great phone call with @tmehlhaff10 I am very grateful to say that I have received a PWO to play football at the University of Wisconsin.#OnWisconsin @CoachHaering @KohlsKicking @ArrowheadFB @Coach_Radke @JeffBudzien @CoachHarris28 pic.twitter.com/hKj6J7CE54

Bittman is a Hartland, Wisc. (Arrowhead) native who took a Wisconsin visit this past season. Kohl’s professional kicking camps ranks Bittman as a five-star recruit and the no. 19 kicker in his class of 2021. Currently, his only other known division one offer is from Air Force. Wisconsin has yet to sign a kicker in the class of 2021
