The 2020 Wyndham Championship comes on the heels of Collin Morikawa‘s victory at the PGA Championship. This event at Sedgefield Country Club in Greensboro, North Carolina, will host a stronger field than usual with the FedExCup Playoffs beginning next week. Below, we’ll make our picks and best bets for the 2020 Wyndham Championship based on the PGA Tour betting odds at BetMGM.

Golfweek: Tiger Woods takes this week off; where will we see him next?

2020 Wyndham Championship Betting Picks – Tier 1

Odds provided by BetMGM; access USA TODAY Sports’ betting odds for a full list. Lines last updated Monday at 5 p.m. ET.

Patrick Reed +1600

Reed won this event in 2013 but hasn’t finished higher than 22nd in just three appearances since. Reed enters the week 19th in the Golfweek/Sagarin world rankings. He’s third in the field by that measure and by the betting odds while trailing tournament favorites Brooks Koepka (+1000) and Webb Simpson (+1000).

The former Masters champ is 10th on the PGA Tour this season in Strokes Gained: Around-the-Green and T-29 in Scrambling. He finished T-13 in a much stronger field last week. He led the field with an average of 1.63 SG: Around-the-Green per round, according to Data Golf.

Reed sits sixth by the FedExCup standings and will look to climb closer to leader Justin Thomas.

2020 Wyndham Championship Betting Picks – Tier 2

Shane Lowry (+4500)

Lowry tied for 66th last week while most memorably snapping a club over his knee during Friday’s second round. The reigning Champion Golfer of the Year missed the cut in this event in 2018, but he finished seventh in 2017. He tied for sixth at the WGC-FedEx St. Jude Invitational for his top result since the season was put on pause.

He’s also one of the biggest names with the added motivation of the FEC playoffs. He enters the week just 131st and is currently set to miss The Northern Trust. He’ll need a strong finish in a weaker field to make it to TPC Boston in Norton, Massachusetts.

2020 Wyndham Championship Betting Picks – Long shots

Branden Grace (+10000)

Grace sits well outside of the FedExCup Playoffs picture at 162nd entering this week. He had been struggling since the PGA Tour’s restart and missed four cuts in a row, before needing to withdraw from the Barracuda Championship due to a positive COVID-19 test while in contention heading into Saturday.

He’s averaging 0.59 SG: Approach for the season with 0.60 SG: Tee-to-Green. Grace finished just 48th and 47th in his two prior appearances at this event, but his price doesn’t reflect the form he flashed prior to his unfortunate withdrawal.
