If you’ve paid any attention to Ian Book’s career you’re well-aware that he wasn’t some mega-recruit like we’ve seen Notre Dame have at the position like Jimmy Clausen, Gunner Kiel or a good amount of others. In fact, Book was a Washington State commit before visiting Notre Dame in August of 2015 and switching his commitment to the Irish just a few days later.
