There’s one thing that stands out to Weaver’s game, and that’s filling in the gap where he makes thumping stops. He did have a play where he did so, which raised some eyebrows. But one aspect to Weaver’s game that scouts wanted to see was how he would hold up in coverage. Today, he failed to do so. During the one-on-ones, Weaver was beat a few times, showing the lack of fluid movements to hold up and redirect with running backs.
