2020 Senior Bowl game standouts to know

Here’s who stood out at the Senior Bowl.

Senior Bowl week wrapped up with the annual game event at Ladd-Peebles Stadium Saturday after a wild week of interviews and practices for the players. The game was a last chance to impress scouts in full pads before venturing off to the Combine and Pro Days. Here are some of the players who helped themselves out at the game on Saturday.

Lamical Perine, RB, Florida

Perine scored the first touchdown of the game and showed how tough he is to bring down on first contact. Perine got the show started for what would be a very good day for the running back group as a whole.

JaMycal Hasty, RB, Baylor

Hasty is nasty (though those don’t rhyme, but at least they’re spelled similarly). Hasty showed quickness and shiftiness. He’s projected day three, which goes to show how deep this running back class is.

Joshua Kelley, RB, UCLA

Kelley had a fantastic week of practices and that momentum carried over into the game with over 100 yards rushing. Kelley is simply fun to watch. He loved the different concepts ran this week and showed a ton of versatility

Bradlee Anae, Edge, Utah

Anae lived in the backfield in this game. He was Jalen Hurts’ biggest nightmare Saturday. Anae was already seen as one of the top edge-rushers coming into this week and only furthered that point, if not increased his value, with his strong showing today.

Josh Uche, Edge, Michigan

Like Anae, Uche worked offensive linemen all week and seems to always find the quarterback and create havoc. Uche will quickly be rising up big boards. It will be interesting to see how teams view Uche and where his draft value lies.
