The former Aggie is a sure-first rounder.

The NFL Draft is fast approaching and the process is quite different with no in-person workouts or visits, but that is not stopping from Utah State quarterback Jordan Love from shooting up the draft boards.

There are reports that the New Orleans Saints, Green Bay Packers, Los Angeles Chargers, Las Vegas Raiders, Miami Dolphins and Indianapolis Colts met virtually with Love over the past week.

Love is getting projected as high as top-10 in some mock drafts all the way to the end of the first round, but all signs point to him being taken in the first round.

NFL Mock Draft Databaase is a great resource that currently has over 300 mock drafts from the Internet and the consensus has Love going to the New England Patriots with 17.9 percent of the latest mock drafts the website has tracked.

However, there are some mock drafts that place Love in the top 10 to teams like the Jacksonville Jaguars or the Los Angeles Chargers.

The Patriots would be a great landing spot for Love to go to since Tom Brady left for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers and their quarterback situation includes bringing back Brian Hoyer and Jarrett Stidham.

If Bill Belichick drafts Love it could give him a chance to compete for the starting job on a franchise that is run so well and has been on the most successful run in 20 years in NFL history.

With NFL teams always wanting the next great quarterback to lead their team, it could see franchises reach and take a quarterback earlier than they wanted. That is how Love could go in the first half of the first-round as Love is one of the more fluid quarterbacks in this draft for where they will get picked.
