2020 NFL Draft: Titans select Larrell Murchison with 174th pick

The Titans have made their pick in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft.

With the 174th pick in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, the Tennessee Titans have selected defensive tackle Larrell Murchison out of NC State.

Murchison was one of the defensive tackles the Titans met with during the pre-draft process.

The 6-foot-2, 297-pound lineman not only fills the need for depth upfront for Tennessee in 2020, but he also has the potential to transition into a starter in the years to come.

Tennessee lost both Jurrell Casey (trade) and Austin Johnson (signed with the Giants) this offseason. Adding to those players, DaQuan Jones will hit free agency in 2021 and could be on the move after this season.

It only made sense that the Titans add another lineman at some point in this draft. The Titans also signed veteran defensive lineman Jack Crawford in free agency.

After making their fourth pick of the draft, the Titans have three selections remaining, with all three coming in the seventh round.
