The Indianapolis Colts selected USC wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. with the No. 34 overall pick in the 2020 NFL draft.
Instead of trading out of the spot—and not for a lack of suitors—the Colts made the pick of Pittman Jr., adding him to the wide receiver room.
Needing to add to the wide receiver room, the Colts found a perfect fit in Pittman Jr. He fits their character mold while possessing the abilities as an X-receiver to work on the outside.
Winning with physicality, length and the most secure hands in the draft, Pittman Jr. recorded 101 receptions for 1,275 yards and 11 touchdowns in 2019 for the Trojans.
Pittman Jr. joins a wide receiver room that includes T.Y. Hilton, Zach Pascal and Parris Campbell.
The Colts are scheduled to have two more picks on Friday (Nos. 44 and 75), barring a trade.
