If it weren’t a high ankle sprain that cost him a chunk of his senior season and a Florida coaching staff that did not play him out of position, odds are Jabari Zuniga’s draft stock would be a lot higher than it is right now.

Florida played Zuniga inside on sub packages — a head-scratching move considering his prowess for getting to opposing quarterbacks. Although he was thrust into an unfamiliar role, Zuniga made the most of the situation, showcasing his ability and natural pass rushing gifts when healthy.

If Zuniga’s medicals came back clean, there is no reason for Zuniga not to be a target for the Jets in the later rounds.
