As coverage of the first round of the NBA Playoffs continues on Thursday, the 14 teams not in contention at the Walt Disney World Resort will turn their attention to the 2020 NBA Draft Lottery.
Originally scheduled to take place on May 19, the NBA Draft Lottery was postponed due to the coronavirus pandemic. The ping-pong balls will still be drawn in Secaucus, New Jersey, but will there will be no teams present on-site and the event will be held virtually for the first time.
The teams with the three worst records in the NBA prior to the season suspension — the Golden State Warriors, Cleveland Cavaliers and Minnesota Timberwolves — have the highest chance of winning the No. 1 overall pick at 14% each.

ESPN is planning a 30-minute broadcast to unveil the order of selection for the first 14 picks in the 2020 NBA Draft. Rachel Nichols will host the coverage and will be joined by Jay Williams, Jay Bilas and Adrian Wojnarowski while she will also interview prospects LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards.

While there are several prospects in the conversation to be the No. 1 overall pick, there is no clear-cut choice as there was last year with Zion Williamson.
