Are there new favorites?

The first day of the Mountain West saw a pair of lower seeded teams with No. 9 Air Force topping No. 8 Fresno State but the big upset was No. 11 Wyoming topping No. 6 Colorado State.

Those upsets caused a wrinkle in the odds compared to pre-tournament odds. The Aztecs odds improved about a percentage point to win it all and part of it has to do with playing the Falcons instead of the Bulldogs.

The team that benefited the most from the two upsets is Nevada as they are playing Wyoming over Colorado State and its odds to go to the semifinals improved by 15 percentage points and 10 percentage points better to get to the title game.

For reference here are the odds before the tournament started.
