Tennessee (4-4, 2-3 SEC) returns to action in Week 10 following an open date.
The Vols will play at Kentucky (6-2, 4-2 SEC) Saturday. Kickoff is slated for 7 p.m. EDT and ESPN2 will televise the Southeastern Conference divisional matchup.
Vols’ senior quarterback Hendon Hooker played against Kentucky, while at Virginia Tech, in the 2019 Belk Bowl.
Kentucky defeated the Hokies, 37-30, on Dec. 31, 2019 at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina.
In the contest, Hooker completed 12-of-22 passes for 110 yards and two touchdowns. He also totaled 50 yards rushing on 12 attempts.
Hooker transferred to Tennessee following the 2020 season.
He has completed 114-of-166 passes for 1,578 yards, 17 touchdowns and two interceptions in 2021.
The 6-foot-4, 218-pound senior quarterback has also totaled 416 rushing yards and four touchdowns on 101 attempts for the Vols.
