2 Vikings injuries to watch in Week 13

The Vikings lost an offensive starter and a defensive starter in their game on Sunday. Find out who they are

The Arizona Cardinals will face the Minnesota Vikings on the road this weekend in Week 13. The Vikings had a pair of injuries to watch on injury reports this week to a pair of starters, one on offense and one on defense.

Left tackle Cam Robinson exited the Vikings’ 30-27 overtime win over the Chicago Bears in the first quarter. He suffered a foot injury that he did not return from.

Head coach Kevin O’Connell was optimistic about the injury on Monday, saying it was similar to what Robinson was dealing with not too long ago.

“I’m pretty confident that it’s very similar, and he was able to work through it, so we’ll see how he responds,” O’Connell said. He did note that he did not have any timelines and that the team was in “evaluation mode.”

Robinson was acquired in a trade after starting left tackle Christian Darrisaw suffered a season-ending knee injury. David Quessenberry is the backup tackle on the roster.

Likewise, the Vikings lost linebacker Ivan Pace to a hamstring injury during the game. He did not return.

Pace has 59 tackles, three sacks, six tackles for loss and six quarterback hits on the season.

The first injury report of the week for both teams will come out Wednesday afternoon after both teams have practiced.
