The Tennessee Titans entered the draft with a need at cornerback with Logan Ryan out of the fold, addressing the issue by selecting LSU’s Kristian Fulton at pick No. 61 in the second round of the 2020 NFL Draft.
He’ll be joining a secondary that features corners like Adoree’ Jackson and Malcolm Butler, two players that own among the best forced incompletion percentages since 2010, according to Pro Football Focus.
To figure out forced incompletion percentage, PFF “takes all forced incompletions (pass breakups, interceptions, tight coverage) and divides them by total targets…”
Jackson has a forced incompletion percentage of 18.4 percent, good enough to tie for second-highest in the NFL since 2010 with Ross Cockrell, while Butler sat at fourth on the list with a mark of 17.5 percent.
Casey Hayward led all players at the position with 19.3 percent.

Butler was placed on Injured Reserve after suffering a broken wrist in the Week 9 loss to the Carolina Panthers last season after registering 32 combined tackles, two interceptions and one touchdown.
In his third year with the team, Jackson recorded 45 combined tackles in 2019 and was sorely missed when he was forced to miss time with his own injury. Thankfully for Tennessee, he came back in time for the playoffs, where he made a huge impact.
Butler and Jackson will look to return to the field in a big way when the Titans get back to football later this year, and both could be vital in Fulton’s development, and the rookie has said he looks forward to learning from them.
