Texas A&M’s 2025 recruiting class is defensively dominated, which isn’t surprising under head coach Mike Elko, whose elite defensive background has garnered interest from nearly every top-ranked D-line and secondary prospect in the country.
After losing 5-star quarterback Husan Longstreet to the USC Trojans, Texas A&M’s 2025 cycle is now ranked 10th nationally, according to On3. Monday’s class rankings update saw two of the Aggies’ commits, including 4-star Edge Marco Jones and 4-star cornerback Jamar Beal-Goines.
Beal-Goines, who is by far the most underrated commit in the class, has risen from 198th to 62nd and is now firmly a 4-star prospect, while Marco Jones is just five spots higher at 57th, rocketing up from 172nd in On3’s class rankings.
In today’s college football landscape, these rankings are even more important, knowing that players like Jones and Beal-Goines will need to see the field as soon as their first season, knowing that the talent level will hopefully match the play on the field.
Biggest risers in the updated 2025 On300 rankings‼️
