2 Colts players among PFF’s top 50 free agents for 2025

PFF put out its early list of the top 50 free agents in 2025 and included were two members of the Indianapolis Colts.

Pro Football Focus released its top 50 free agents for the upcoming 2025 offseason and featured were two members of the Indianapolis Colts.

Coming in at No. 24 on the list is guard Will Fries and at No. 42 is defensive end Dayo Odeyingbo.

Fries’ 2024 season was unfortunately cut short due to a season-ending leg injury in Week 5. However, before that, he was playing at a very high level.

Through those five games, Fries was PFF’s second-highest-graded guard in football, surrendering no sacks and only three pressures in 87 pass-blocking snaps. He also graded out quite well as a run-blocker.

Without Fries, the Colts turned to rookie Dalton Tucker and more recently, Mark Glowinski at right guard, but neither has operated anywhere near the level that Fries was playing at.

Odeyingbo, meanwhile, leads the Colts’ defense in pressures with 39 and he’s third on the team in sacks with four. Among all defensive ends this season, Odeyingbo ranks 39th in pressures and 42nd in pass rush win rate.

The defensive end position is already one that the Colts have invested into recently, re-signing Tyquan Lewis over the offeseason, picking up Kwity Paye’s fifth-year option for the 2025 season, and drafting Laiatu Latu in the first round.

With that said, we all know how much GM Chris Ballard values keeping his own players.

Currently, Over the Cap has the Colts projected to have $48.735 million in cap space next offseason. This is the 17th-most in football.
