Happy Monday, Bruins fans! Football has almost arrived. The weekend is over, and we draw even closer to the next weekend, and the arrival of College Football. As we are down to 19 days until kickoff, we have a pair of 19s on the roster we want to celebrate today!
First up is backup quarterback Karson Gordon. The 6’1, 171 freshman out of Missouri City Texas went to Episcopal High School. He enrolled at UCIA in June. In High School, he was the 19th-rated dual-threat quarterback by ESPN. He is going to get a great opportunity to learn this season behind Ethan Garbers. Gordon was also a great member of the track team.

Next is D.J. Justice. Standing 6’0, 205lbs., the red-shirt junior came to UCLA out of San Diego. After playing at Bishop Alemany High School, he enrolled with the Bruins in March of 2021. During the 2022 season, he played in three games, which included a late interception to help beat Alabama State.ย Last year was his redshirt season. During his time in high school, he was a wide receiver as well. Now, he is battling for a spot with the defensive backs
