We are down to 16 days until UCLA Bruins football. Just over two weeks to go! The Bruins and Hawaii will get together across the pond for Week 1. Plenty of Big Ten and College Football news coming across the wire.
Today, we are going to focus on the current UCLA Bruins depth chart. Here is what it is looking like as we approach the season:
Quarterback: Ethan Garbers, Justyn Martin
Running back: T.J. Harden, Keegan Jones, Jalen Berger
Wide Receiver: J. Michael Sturdivant, Rico Flores Jr, Logan Loya
Tight End: Moliki Matavao, Bryce Pierre
This is going to be an offense that has some player-makers at the skill positions. Ethan Garbers, the red-shirt senior transfer has some weapons. Sturdivant and Harden are both elite players at their positions. Can the line keep up is the issue?
Offensive coordinator Eric Bieniemy should make some improvements. The Bruins scored over 26 points per game a season ago. The passing game averaged 229 yards per game, while the Bruins rushed for 197.9 per game. Whether the Bruins can improve on that in 2024 is yet to be seen.
