12 early enrollees join Oregon Ducks for practice ahead of Rose Bowl

The Oregon Ducks held their first Rose Bowl practice of the month, where 12 true freshmen from the 2025 signing class were able to join.

The Oregon Ducks held their first open practice of Rose Bowl week on Friday morning in Eugene as they get set to travel down to Pasadena and take on the Ohio State Buckeyes in the quarterfinals of the College Football Playoff.

With the practice taking place after the early signing period, there were a total of 12 true freshmen who signed with the Ducks this past month and were able to join the team for practice as early enrollees. The players were as follows:

  • QB Akili Smith Jr.
  • RB Jordon Davison
  • WR Cooper Perry
  • TE Vander Ploog
  • OL Ziyare Addison
  • OL Douglas Utu
  • OL Demetri Manning
  • EDGE Nasir Wyatt
  • EDGE Matthew Johnson
  • CB Dorian Brew
  • S Trey McNutt

The Ducks also saw the likes of CB Jahlil Florence return to practice as well after missing the past year with an injury. The Ducks will hold one more practice in Eugene before heading down to California for the game on Sunday afternoon.
