WR Jaleel Scott
Scott has to have vice-grip fingers to have held onto a roster spot this long despite playing so little. Since being selected in the fourth round of the 2018 NFL Draft, Scott has played a grand total of 17 offensive snaps and two special teams snaps. While general manager Eric DeCosta said the team loves the guys already on the roster, you can’t help but think this is Scott’s final chance in Baltimore.
Just like with Snead, the Ravens are almost assuredly going to take at least one wide receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft. At this point, any rookie wide receiver is going to get a longer leash than Scott, regardless of where they’re drafted at. Though that doesn’t guarantee he’ll be cut, he’s going to have to make a serious impact in training camp and the preseason to beat out whoever Baltimore drafts.
The pressure is truly on for Scott this offseason in a way it hasn’t been to date.
