WR Willie Snead
This is a historically prolific wide receiver draft class and the Ravens would be foolish for not tapping into it. With Marquise Brown already showing superstar flashes last season and Miles Boykin likely expanding upon Seth Roberts’ role, Snead’s slot job is the next one in line for an upgrade.
Baltimore signed Snead to a one-year extension last year, which will keep him in the rotation this season. However, his tenure with the Ravens likely has an expiration date on it if they select a wide receiver in the 2020 NFL Draft. With so many great options to choose from, even dipping into the fourth and fifth rounds, it seems nearly impossible for Baltimore to not grab Snead’s replacement in this draft.
The bigger question is just how quickly it will happen. Can Snead hold someone off this season or will he see an even bigger reduction in his targets immediately?
