The excitement continues to build. The 2024 UCLA Bruins Football team is 11 days from the start of the season. We continue to countdown all the way until game day.
With it being 11 days, we have a pair of 11’s on the roster we need to highlight.
Up first is 5’10, 195lbs redshirt senior quarterback Chase Griffin. Griffin is out of Round Rock Texas, and Hutto High School. Griffin has been with the Bruins since 2019. The signal-caller played in three games last season and was a Wuerffel Trophy Nominee. In 2022 he was a reserve quarterback and won the Arthus Ashe Jr Sports Scholar of the Year award. He will likely be the top choice behind Ethan Garbers this far.

On the defensive side, Ramon Henderson also will wear 11 for the Bruins. Henderson, a defensive back, is 6’1, 196lbs. The redshirt senior from Bakersfield California came to the Bruins out of Liberty High School and also started his college career at Notre Dame. Henderson came to the Bruins in January and earned a spot on the Athletic Director’s Honor Roll for the Winter of 2024. He played in 12 games last season for Notre Dame.
