Las Vegas is all about over-the-top experiences, so it should come as no surprise that they offer so many more ways to get around the city than simply walking or calling for a Lyft.
Here are 10 modes of transportation that let you take in the views. Prepare to be moved.
SkyJump at The STRAT

Proving if you build it, they will jump, SkyJump gives you the opportunity to leap (or get pushed) from the 108th floor of the STRAT Hotel, Casino & Skypod – the tallest structure in the city.
SkyJump holds the Guinness World Record for Highest Commercial Decelerator Descent, with a whopping 829-foot drop. More like a vertical zipline than a freefall, it’s a 40+ mph joyride that will have your heart pumping.
Gondola Rides at The Venetian

When in Venice – or The Venetian – you have to take a gondola ride down the Grand Canal. Your gondolier will serenade you as you relax on your choice of an outdoor ride under the blue skies of Las Vegas or an indoor one, surrounded by the magical sights and sounds of the Grand Canal Shoppes.
As you float by cafes, beneath bridges and under balconies, it’s impossible not to feel like you’re actually in Italy.
Vegas Indoor Skydiving

Learn to literally rise above it all at this indoor skydiving simulator, where defying gravity is the name of the game.
Thanks to a 1,000-horsepower motor, you can float, fly and free-fall through the air with wind speeds up to 120 mph. You’ll be given all the necessary flight gear along with personal training to get you off the ground and get that adrenaline pumping. It’s exhilarating.
Rail Explorers

Forget the train and literally ride the rails with these pedal-powered rail bikes. Whether you ride tandem or quad, all you have to do is use your feet. You’ll stay on track without steering, so your hands are free to take photos of the beautiful scenery you’ll be passing.
It’s all downhill – thankfully – once you board your bike at the Nevada State Railroad Museum, where you’ll start your four-mile ride to Railroad Pass. After doing your part, you will get a ride back up the hill on one of the Museum’s historic trains.
Fly LINQ Zipline Vegas
[PHOTO_377265]
Possibly the coolest way to see the Strip, Fly LINQ lets you soar 1,121 feet across The LINQ Promenade at speeds up to 35 mph.
Ten side-by-side ziplines launch riders from a 114-foot-tall (that’s 12 stories) tower – simultaneously if you want to ride with a group of friends. You can choose to ride in a seated position or like a superhero. Want to make it an extra thrill ride? Fly backwards.
Exotics Racing
[PHOTO_377085]
Buckle up, baby. The world’s largest supercar driving experience lets you fulfill your dream of racing everything from a Ferrari or Porsche to an Aston Martin or Lamborghini – without worrying about pesky things like a speed limit.
With a 1.2-mile track designed by professional racing drivers, you’ll feel what it’s like to make seven breathtaking turns and zoom down an 1,800-foot main straightaway at speeds up to 140 mph. You can race your friends or the clock, spend a day at racing school or ride shotgun with an expert driver at the wheel.
The Big Apple Coaster at New York-New York

If you think New York’s cab rides are wild, just wait ’til you try the taxi-themed Big Apple Coaster at New York-New York, which doubles down on the thrills.
The first coaster in the world to feature a 180-degree heartline twist and dive maneuver, the Big Apple Coaster takes riders through the ups and downs of city life at 67 mph. Up the game by adding Virtual Reality for a 4D experience that’s a scream.
High Roller at The LINQ

The world’s tallest observation wheel features 28 roomy cabins that take you 550 feet above the Strip for sweeping, 360-degree views.
During the 30 minutes it takes to complete one revolution, you can indulge in a yoga class, a chocolate experience or the open bar at Happy Half Hour. You can even get married. There are so many options – including just taking in the scenery – that the sky is the limit.
Maverick Helicopters Tour
[PHOTO_377086]
Get a bird’s-eye view of the city on a luxury ECO-Star helicopter tour that takes you high over the Strip and historic Downtown to provide unparalleled views.
The flight is even more spectacular at night when you get to see Las Vegas in all its neon glory. If you want to see more, opt for a Grand Canyon Tour, which takes you to one of the Seven Natural Wonders of the World for champagne and snacks.
Las Vegas Monorail

With seven convenient stops and trains arriving every four to eight minutes, the Monorail is a great way to travel along the Strip.
The four-mile route goes from SAHARA Las Vegas to the MGM Grand (and back), and is way faster than a cab. Buy an unlimited Mobile Ticket so you’ll have it on your phone and can simply scan it at any of the stations to head off on your next adventure.
