Nov. 19, 2018: Rams-Chiefs play an all-time classic
Arguably the best Monday Night Football game of all time, this one also has an argument for the greatest regular-season game ever. The Rams and Chiefs combined for 105 points, 1,001 yards, three defensive touchdowns and 35 combined points in the fourth quarter alone. The Rams won 54-51 with Gerald Everett’s 40-yard TD proving to be the difference as time wound down.
Jan. 12, 2019: Rams run wild on Cowboys in Divisional Round win
With questions about Todd Gurley’s health, he and C.J. Anderson combined for 238 yards rushing and three touchdowns in the Rams’ 30-22 win at home over the Cowboys to advance in the playoffs. Jared Goff’s 11-yard keeper with two minutes left sealed the win for L.A., sending the Rams to the NFC Championship Game.
Jan. 20, 2019: Rams beat Saints in controversial NFC Championship Game
And in that NFC Championship Game, the Rams upset the Saints at the Superdome – but not without controversy. Nickell Robey-Coleman’s uncalled pass interference penalty helped send the Rams to the Super Bowl as they beat the Saints in overtime, 26-23. They were down 23-20 with 1:41 left in the game but scored the final six points to win.
Sept. 22, 2019: 4th-quarter comeback vs. Browns
There weren’t many memorable games from last season, but this one stands out. The Rams were down 13-10 in the fourth quarter but scored 10 unanswered to win 20-13. John Johnson’s interception in the end zone capped it off for Los Angeles.
