Sept. 27, 2018: Goff perfect in Rams’ win over Vikings
The first sign of Goff’s breakout 2018 season came in Week 4 when he threw for 465 yards, five touchdowns and a perfect passer rating of 158.3. The Rams won 38-31 at home in a game that was one of the best of the season.
Oct. 7, 2018: Goff seals win vs. Seahawks with 4th-down sneak
Two weeks after beating the Vikings, the Rams knocked off the Seahawks on the road 33-31 to continue their winning streak. Cairo Santos’ 39-yard FG in the fourth gave the Rams their last lead of the game, and it was sealed when Goff picked up 2 yards on fourth-and-1 with 1:39 to play.
Nov. 4, 2018: Rams lose shootout to Saints
It might bring back bad memories, but the Rams-Saints showdown in Week 9 was outstanding. The Saints won 45-35, but only after the Rams came back from being down 35-14. They scored 21 unanswered, but Michael Thomas’ 72-yard touchdown with under four minutes clinched the win for New Orleans.
